| The primary mission of the Office of Student Affairs is to provide service and support to medical students to enhance their educational experience and assist their feeling of well-being. Liaison with the student advising system, career counseling, enrichment programs, and the school counselor are examples of these responsibilities. The school registrar is a part of the Student Affairs Office and oversees the official academic records. Credentialing for issues during school, such as enrollment and immunization status, as well as post graduation verification of requirements for licensing and admitting privileges, are handled through the registrar. The dean of students is the head of the office. This is a full-time position, meeting with and supporting students personally or through written communication when necessary. This includes supporting the process of residency application. | |
